Il dipinto è una composizione astratta, costruita attraverso una sovrapposizione di campiture cromatiche e segni materici. Ho articolato la superficie in forme prevalentemente rettangolari e irregolari, che si incastrano come frammenti, creando una struttura complessa ma equilibrata. I colori dominanti sono i blu, i grigi e i bianchi, intervallati da tocchi più caldi di rosso, giallo e ocra, che animano la composizione e ne interrompono la…
freddezza.
Il mio intento è quello di suggerire l’idea di un paesaggio interiore o urbano, non riconoscibile in senso realistico ma evocato attraverso la stratificazione delle forme e dei colori. Ho cercato di restituire una memoria visiva fatta di tracce e sedimentazioni. Ho contrapposto toni freddi e caldi come un dialogo tra stabilità e tensione, quiete e movimento. Le colature e le abrasioni vogliono introdurre una dimensione emotiva che rompe l’ordine apparente della composizione.

I was born in Trapani in 1936. I am a self-taught painter with a background in architecture, experimenting with oil on canvas, ink, watercolor, digital, ceramic, and wood. My flexible technique blends irrational vitalism and geometric morphologies, pursuing chromatic and formal balances with abstract accents and ironic symbolism. In my works, I have sought to convey my profound states of mind, intuitions, and emotional fragments, revealing an inner world dominated by the magic of the unconscious and the desire to connect with the deeper side of existence.
