About this artwork
In Overcoming the Vortex, I wanted to show the strength of women navigating life’s challenges. The swirling vortex represents the pressures that try to pull us down, while the athletes symbolize resilience, courage, and determination. As I painted, I celebrated how women push forward despite obstacles, turning struggle into momentum and emerging stronger.
