About this artwork

This work was created over a few months and was completed in early 2023.

It is a combination of painting, paper and slightly plastic material collage on six canvases put together.
From the beginning this work had something mystical... There were many approaches that I rejected again and again.
It was work on myself. At some point I was finally able to let go of my concepts and ended up in the fantastic world of fairy tales. Images from a nostalgic… fairy tale book inspired me to do this...
The symbolic royal couple in this depiction have the heads of foxes. Animals that have always fascinated me.
The positive message of this somewhat "crazy" work is that everything turns out well in the end!

The sides of the work are also painted and there are two professionally countersunk eyelets on the back so that the work can be hung up immediately.

A matt varnish protects the work from the effects of light.
