About this artwork
This work stems from close observation of the internal structure of a rose, transformed into a fluid, almost abstract composition. The image unfolds through watercolor washes and subtle ink strokes, creating a visual rhythm of folds, tensions, and chromatic transitions.
Rather than representing the flower descriptively, the work explores its inner dimension: a web of organic forms in constant motion, where color takes center stage. The hues of… red and pink, sometimes transparent, sometimes more intense, create depth and draw the eye into the composition.
The result is a balance between botanical reference and abstraction, in which the subject dissolves into a dynamic and contemporary visual flow.
