About this artwork
Tempera grassa, acrovinilico and charcoal on linen canvas. The painting is signed on back and front and comes ready to hang. It's protected with final antiuv varnish and it's shipped by the artist in a wooden crate ensuring a safe delivery for the work. It's framed with a wooden white floating frame as shown in the additional pictures after an exhibition. Framing can be left in place or removed according to collector's choice.
The path undertaken… by the Artist years ago, first with the Chimere and then with Imago series, evolves and continues in these new works. The "Manifesti" cycle proposes mysterious images with a strong evocative and lyrical impact, where the sign becomes even more distinct and musical, the structures open and fall apart while large layers of color outline the entire composition, constantly suspended in a delicate equilibrium.
« A revelation, or at least its premonition, is what should manifest in every painting. »
Francesco D’Adamo is a talented Italian painter whose works have widely featured in exhibitions nationally, as well in publications, shows and collections throughout Europe. Seeking to create a wordless language through his art, he composes abstract paintings marked by broad, sweeping brush strokes, a highly pigmented colour palette and a soft musicality. D'Adamo draws inspiration from a range of artistic movements and figures including Informalism, Lyrical Abstraction and Willem De Kooning.
