About this artwork
I was already dealing with the topic of “animals and people” when she was studying. Since then, I have been using aesthetic means to explore the relationship that can exist between humans and animals. The most frequently appearing animals in the work are fish and birds. Other animals, such as the lizard, have space. When designing these animals, I am inspired by myths, fairy tales and also by nature itself. In addition to the observation of nature…
and the phenomenological penetration of the topic, there are also our own design ideas. The sculpted animals are always in close contact with the female sculptures and are therefore very close to these figures. In keeping with its position in fairy tales and myths, for me the fish represents self-discovery and development of the individual.
