About this artwork
“Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.” Oscar Wilde
We all wear masks—symbols of what we hide, reveal, and carry within ourselves. Da Vinci captured tiny, subtle expressions in the Mona Lisa that left us wondering. Carl Jung believed that our masks reveal as much as they hide.
The MASK paintings offer you a unique chance to experience art as a mirror—reflecting parts of yourself… you may have never seen before.
« I aim to make a completely original and iconic work the sticks to the viewer by demanding their attention and refusing to let go, leaving an indelible mark on their memory. »
I paint to disrupt certainty.
I grew up between two opposing worlds—strict control and complete freedom. I learned early that what we’re told to believe and what actually feels true don’t always match. That tension never left me. My work lives there.
I don’t give answers—I obscure them. Each painting is built to hold tension, giving you just enough to recognize something, but not enough to settle into it. When you stand in front of the work, you’re not just looking—you’re participating. The painting acts as a mirror. What you see says as much about you as it does about the image.
I’m not interested in approval. I’m interested in reaction—what you project, what you recognize, what stays with you.
My paintings are held in private collections across the United States, Europe, South America, and Australia.
This isn’t art that resolves itself. It doesn’t decorate a space. It holds tension.
If you’re looking for something that simply matches your room, this isn’t it.
