About this artwork
I created fist candle for the christmas season. A special series of different paintings and work techniques.
With first candle i transport the feelings and emotions of the first advent day. The smelling of the candle and the first cookies, the special drinks, that are served.
The shining in the eyes of the children waiting for the holy evening, when the christ child is coming or for the people over seas santa claus.
The hope, the wishes may become… true.
The first candle has also the story in it of a candle, waiting for the special event, the first advent. To be the first of all candles to get lighted.
Emotional and thoughtful for these special days of the year.
