About this artwork
The work was created in the spring of the year, inspired by the spring light of the north, when the days get longer and foreshadow the approaching time of lightness of summer. The abstract painting shows the blue sky dancing in the haze of the early season and opens up space for the viewer's imagination and emotion, and we are free to float and dream in it. The fine, predominantly blue, pastel-colored nuances and shapes are friendly and positive.… Nothing disturbs the peaceful scenery. Peace and relaxation spread and give the viewer a feeling of inner contentment. The viewer has this scene to himself at this moment. This allows him to follow his thoughts and reflect on himself.
« I want to be creative and experience creativity. Therefore I paint what I feel and with great tension, I look at what surrounds me. »
Hasso Heybrock is an artist based in Germany who has exhibited his works nationally, as well as in Denmark, Italy, and Spain. He believes that looking at a painting means walking into an unknown adventure through the picture, where hidden emotions come to the surface. For Heybrock, making the adventure as intense and exciting as possible for the viewer is his main challenge as a painter.
