About this artwork
Irit Rotrobin's works are characterized by a unique combination of classic fine art photography and advanced digital techniques of collage and artificial intelligence (AI). Her works present a wide range of subjects, from nature and flower photography to nostalgic urban elements such as vintage watches, glasses and iconic buildings in Paris.
The works focus on creating "atmosphere photographs" with a message and idea, combining dramatic plays of… light and shadow that give emotional depth to each frame.
The use of the digital collage technique allows the artist to create layers of meaning, connecting the photographed reality with an imaginary and optimistic world.
Many of the works present a unique perspective on everyday objects, such as cracked glassware or water droplets, which transform under her lens into abstract and thought-provoking works
