About this artwork
In this charcoal work, I wanted to capture the raw strength and timeless elegance of the sea. Using a figurative style, I sought to convey pure emotion through the striking contrast of light and shadow, inviting the observer to feel the power and majesty of the waves. Its presence in a home brings a dynamic energy, a constant reminder of the impetuous beauty of nature.
« Doubt, wonder, and dread, all at the same time, inspire my journey. What light will there be tomorrow? »
Isael is a French painter and draftsman whose works have been exhibited nationally, in Belgium and Luxembourg. From a very young age, she has felt the suffering inflicted upon the planet, and on those who inhabit it. She translates this "burden" through her art. Isael's diverse compositions are expressed with photography, digital creations, oil paintings, as well as charcoal and black stone drawings.
