About this artwork
Knowledge (4/6)
I am free! Finally! The fog has lifted, my view is only slowly clearing, my eyes are adjusting to the light, it hurts. I now see the world as it is, in all its diversity! I see beauty, I see light, I see sun, blue sky, and white clouds. I am overwhelmed. Slowly, my gaze descends downward, away from the white-blue sky, away from the warming sun. What I see freezes me with fear. The world is not like it is in the dreams in my cage.… The more I see, the more afraid I become. Slowly, I realize that my cage hasn't imprisoned me, but has locked the world out. The cage wasn't the prison, the cage was my fortress!
I'm an artist who doesn't create images with the camera, but rather emotional spaces. My works deliberately transcend the boundaries of reality and invite the viewer into a world full of dreams and emotions. The focus isn't on the perfect shot, but rather on images that seem like paintings—narratives in light and shadow.
Especially in my nude compositions, I see the body as a symbol of authenticity, purity, and primality. For me, nudity is not taboo, but rather a return to the essence—raw, honest, vulnerable.
With the Poetic Act, I have developed a concept that combines photography and poetry. The body becomes a medium for deeper questions, feelings, and thoughts. Each image is a visual poem—sometimes accompanied by words, sometimes open to individual interpretation.
My journey is a search for the essence of being. The images I create are the traces I leave behind.
