About this artwork
In my work I wanted to express the emotional turmoil through the intensity of the contrast between deep black and pure white. Using oil on paper, I emphasized the fluidity and strength of emotions, creating an image that invites deep reflection. This art will bring an energy of reflection and deep pondering into your home.

Born in Erice, Joetta Savona is an artist who trained at the Art High School of Trapani and the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo. She works in an informal and gestural manner, indulging in large formats and a wide range of materials. Extremely emotional, her early work was known for its drama and dark hues, notes that are still present, although now using a wider range of colors. Her work oscillates between a denunciation of human pain and a sense of well-being provided by the contemplation of nature.
