About this artwork
The painting "Get Ready" depicts five people, each looking directly at the viewer. Each has their own story. I used a variety of materials for the painting, including oil and acrylic paints, charcoal, and collage elements made from paper. The painting is on wood, and in some areas, I carved into the wood with a chisel to create a relief. I also incorporated thumbtacks into the artwork. The painting is mounted in a high-quality solid wood frame.
