About this artwork

Painting inspired by beautiful destinations to go on vacation.

I went with turquoise shades that remind me of the most beautiful seas and oceans in the world, but also green to remind me of other countries with lush vegetation.

I played with these two predominant colors by adding subtle shades and gradients to make the painting harmonious. I wanted this new painting to be calming and invite those who look at it to escape.

The goal for me was… really to see these colors marry together but also to see them clash.

To finish, golden touches were added, particularly on the reliefs of the canvas to contrast, attract the eye but also to mark the “magical” and prestigious side of these coveted regions of the world full of wealth.
