Microcosm Verses entfaltet ein vibrierendes Geflecht, das an mikroskopische Aufnahmen erinnert. Zwischen Wachstum und Zerfall kippt die Wahrnehmung: Pflanzenfragmente, Zellteilungen, erstarrte Flüssigkeiten scheinen auf. Überall kleine Tropfen – kondensierte Atemzüge, die Spuren eines Prozesses markieren. Nicht Abbild, sondern Ereignis.
Durch ein eigens entwickeltes Druckverfahren entstehen Strukturen, die sich der Kontrolle entziehen und ein Eigenleben… entfalten: Abdrücke, Überlagerungen, Verdichtungen. Das Werk oszilliert zwischen poetischer Intimität und wissenschaftlicher Präzision.
Der Mikrokosmos wird zur Sprache: kleinste Partikel erscheinen wie Verse, die nicht gelesen, sondern gefühlt werden wollen. Katharina Kühne is a painter, sculptor, and installation artist who trained at the Braunschweig Art Academy (HBK Braunschweig). She uses specially developed painting and printing techniques, reverse glass painting, ceramics, and installations; her style oscillates between figuration and abstraction, characterized by ornamental, organic patterns and dynamic pictorial structures. Her art explores the tension between control and chaos, conveying admiration and awe for the power of nature.
