In this bronze work, there is a dynamic tension, where the central void becomes as important as the fullness. This form, which unfolds and resists, evokes the arenas of life, our struggles and triumphs.
In the apparent void, created by the tumult that surrounds him, created by the tumult that inhabits him, is the individual.
The arena is the circus where our inner battles are played out until we let go, until we are delivered.
Its meaning lies… both in the expressed form that occupies space, but also in the emptiness created by the form. The human being is defined by what he is, that is to say in relation to those around him, but also with WHAT surrounds him.
