This relief artwork is made from recycled tires and fragments of slate.
"Premonitions of Hurricane" evokes that fragile moment when calm becomes heavy, almost oppressive, charged with an invisible force ready to erupt.
Dark materials, marked by time and transformed, intertwine in a palpable tension. They tell a story of a silent struggle between control and surrender, between stability and collapse. The pieces of slate appear as signs of life,… vulnerable to the rising intensity.
It is a work about waiting, about that suspended moment when you sense that something is going to change — profoundly, irreversibly.
