in this work, Lele de Bonis represented a jellyfish. The technique used is always that relating to the use of small aluminum sheets screwed onto wood. This work is the first of the "marine emotion" series in which the artist does not limit himself to representing the marine environment but in this case also focuses on the forms of life that inhabit it. The jellyfish is born as a result of a partially controlled "dripping" process. The chromatisms… and the glazes of different overlapping blues give movement to the work and to the subject in question. This work stands as an experiment and represents a sort of key that can open new potential paths of stylistic research for the artist.
« I am a serial accumulator. From time to time, the objects and materials I collect call me. It is time to start working. »
