About this artwork

To me, Breaking Free reprecents something powerful flying free from black and rusty red shackles. This is like an abstract bird painting with limitless movement and power.

The blue and orange colors are fresh yet somehow very timeless and luxurious. I don't think I'll ever get tired of this color combination and strong contrast. Also, paintings with white space have always been my signature thing, even though at the beginning a very accomlished… gallerist told me this is wrong and paintings should go more all the way to the edges. I disagreed, went my own way, and it has paid off! Trust yourself and you'll break free🤍´

Beautiful modern texturedabstract painting with turquoise and orange. My new favorite series of three colorful abstract paintings: Breaking Free, Dragon & Fenix. Dragon and Fenix were sold from Habitare fair before I even got a chance to upload them but I will offer canvas prints soon.

Lotta Sirén is an artist based in Finland whose works have been exhibited internationally. Insisting that she doesn't want to take art too seriously, she endeavors to keep an open mind and to explore different techniques and color combinations every day. Painting whatever she feels is beautiful at the moment, the key message in Sirén's paintings is to remember to enjoy life. Sirén has Master's in Business, but has been a full-time artist for six years now ever since she found her true passion in abstract art.
