About this artwork
In creating this work, I immersed myself in the depths of abstraction, using bright shades of green to evoke feelings of rebirth and growth. The choice of acrylic allowed me to play with texture, creating fluid movements that seem to dance on the canvas. This painting is an exploration of the cycle of life, a celebration of natural forces that persist despite adversity.
Luisa Colombini, passionate about painting and drawing since childhood, expresses herself with vivacity through colors and shapes. In her abstract works, she favors an emotional and material approach, creating works that take the viewer on a journey of self-discovery. Her paintings vibrate with changing emotions, fully reflecting Picasso's quote that says "Colors, like features, follow the changes of emotions" and inviting the viewer to get lost... or find themselves. She loves to define her works as 'expressions of imperfection'. The frames that surround them, being entirely handmade by herself, are also perfectly imperfect.
