This white-black hole, where darkness lies within shadows rather than its actual appearance, reflects on one’s state of mind.
Although we tend to have our doubts, things are actually much brighter in reality than we sometimes perceive them to be. The colour of the piece therefore might oscillate between white and black depending on our mood. How do we perceive… our current state of mind?
The piece is handcrafted from Plaster of Paris and consists of nine different sizes in the form of cylindrical shapes which took approximately 200 hours to complete.
