About this artwork
In this work, acrylic, sand and tar merge to create an abstract representation that captures the passion and energy of transformation. It is the play of light and texture that fills a space with warmth and a touch of mystery. The powerful, earthy tones bring a calming yet dynamic presence to your home. Every look becomes a journey of discovery. Autumn mood implemented with glazes and rust.
The work is an original and therefore unique - signed and… stamped by hand.
Only high-quality colors and materials were used.
The canvas is stapled and painted on the back and can therefore be hung up immediately.
« As my work arises from my own emotional state and moods, I aim to evoke similar emotions in the viewer. »
Marion Kotyba is an established German painter who has been working freelance since 2010.
The most prominent feature of Marion Kotyba's art is the theme of "rust and aging" as a stylistic device in abstract acrylic painting. In this context, the artist continually reinterprets the interplay of color, light, textures, and technical implementation with artistically impressive power of interpretation, both new and exciting. Recently, observations of the effects of weathering in nature—rusted surfaces, broken structures, glazes, and combinations thereof—have played a particularly important role. The artist works primarily non-objectively in clearly defined groups of works. Marion Kotyba's aim is to offer the viewer of her works sufficient scope for the unbridled exploration of their own imagination on an abstract level of representation.
