About this artwork
If Only thrashes with longing—an emotional tempest rendered in tangled skeins of red, black, and white. The canvas pulses with frenetic energy, each drip and splatter a fragment of desire deferred, a memory unraveling mid-thought. Red dominates like a wound that won’t close, while white streaks attempt to soothe, to erase, to rewrite. Black loops coil and constrict, echoing the ache of what might have been. There’s no clear path through the chaos,… only the suggestion of movement—circular, recursive, like regret revisited. The painting feels like a confession shouted into the void, where color becomes voice and texture becomes time. Hints of blue and yellow flicker like distant hope, barely audible beneath the roar. If Only is not a question—it’s a reckoning. It captures the emotional residue of choices unmade, words unsaid, futures unlived. In its rawness, it dares the viewer to feel the weight of silence and the fury of yearning.
