About this artwork
The Burning erupts with visceral energy—an abstract tempest of reds, blacks, and yellows that collide and cascade across the canvas like emotional wildfire. Splattered and dripped with abandon, the composition evokes both destruction and transformation, as if something sacred is being consumed to make way for something raw and new. The thick textures and chaotic motion suggest a ritual of release, where pain and passion intermingle. Beige undertones… flicker like ash beneath the blaze, hinting at memory and loss. This is not a fire that merely destroys—it purifies, confronts, and awakens. The painting resists containment, spilling beyond its own borders, daring the viewer to feel the heat, the urgency, the reckoning. The Burning is a cathartic scream rendered in pigment—a moment suspended between collapse and rebirth.
