The work begins on a canvas with a natural or light gray texture. This neutral background is essential; it acts as the “silent” world before… the dream begins. It gives the colors room to pop without making the whole thing too heavy.
The basic structure consists of hundreds of vertical strokes and drops.
A palette knife was used.
