Artémis refers to a feminine archetype that the artist seeks to lay bare in order to bring out its energy. Independent, rebellious, enamored of movement, Artémis symbolizes the wild feminine, linked to nature, to animals, to the lunar cycle, to instinctive intelligence.
The moon in all its phases, an abstract landscape suggesting the cypress forests of ancient Greece, the bear embodying the dark… and menacing face of the goddess, the doe into which she transformed one of her followers who was not so determined that she to flee the world of men ... All these elements are present in the myth and gathered in the table.
