About this artwork
As a wildlife artist Nanda naturally mainly paints wild animals, but last summer she decides to paint some flowers. In her garden this little plant measures barely 15 cm. Unnoticed, hidden between more impressive garden plants, it stands quietly shining in the sun. It's only a small weed, but from the right perspective of an impressive beauty. Like we all are, isn't it ?💪

« Sensitivity is the keyword! I am sure that my connection with the animal while painting creates a magical appearance on the canvas that I am known for. »
Nanda Hoep is an award-winning Dutch artist whose works have been widely exhibited on a national level, as well as in Belgium, the United Kingdom and Taiwan. She describes her highly realistic paintings of animals as a pathway to creating a connection and a sense of empathy from the viewer. Hoep endeavors to know her subjects as best she can in order to represent them "as beautifully as nature does". Her incredibly detailed compositions are created using oils on canvas or linen. Since 2024, Nanda has been admitted to the Masters of Realism.
