About this artwork
This is number 13 (I think..) of the series 'variations on a theme'...This might be the last one. Completed in early June of 2023, this piece was somewhat the most time consuming, as it has more layers than any of the previous ones.
In this piece, I've married the textures and depth of acrylics with the spontaneity of spray, creating a vintage yet timeless aura. The oriental influences are a nod to ancient wisdom, symbolizing unity and the interconnectedness… of all things. This work is designed to evoke serenity and contemplation, adding a touch of thoughtful elegance to any space it graces.

At the age 16 Nartana enrolled in the 'Fachoberschule fuer Gestaltung', followed by Fachhochschule fuer visuelle Kommunikation. in Aachen, his hometown. Nartana left Germany and traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas, eventually establishing himself as an artist and member of the Counsel or the Arts and the Society of Artists in Santa Fe, New Mexico and for the last 18 years living in Thailand.
