About this artwork
This painting was born from a dream that came immediately after waking. Chicago appeared suspended in unstable time, its air dense and the city’s outlines fading.
The work does not depict the event itself, but its trace — a space between intuition and reality, where the dream seems to arrive before the fact.
I use mixed media techniques with stucco on MDF panel to create textured relief and a visible, tactile three-dimensional effect.
