About this artwork
In this piece, I explored the stark contrast of cold and warm emotions, using acrylics, gouache, and India ink to depict a withering plant against a cold, blue backdrop. The minimalistic and expressionistic styles emphasize the resilience and isolation felt in nature’s cycle. I aimed to capture the symbolic representation of endurance and transformation, hoping to bring a reflective and quiet energy to any space it inhabits.
