About this artwork

In creating this piece, I wanted to encapsulate the vibrant, joyful essence of a seaside village. I chose acrylics and ink to bring out the bold, lively colors and used impressionistic and naive styles to evoke a sense of whimsy and simplicity. The colorful houses against the serene blue sky and the playful reflections of the boats in the water aim to convey a sense of peacefulness intermingled with the lively spirit of the harbor community. This… artwork invites a burst of color and energy into any space, offering viewers a visual escape to a cheerful, quaint coastal setting. The work is painted on stretched canvas with the image around the edges so that a frame is unnecessary. Ready to hang.

Paul Bursnall is an experienced British artist now living and working in Cornwall. His work has been represented by 60 UK galleries and displayed in many Art fairs and Exhibitions.
