About this artwork
Texture derived from a piece of oak and cast in bronze, the effect of colour and texture is like looking into the depth of a rockpool. An example of the duality that exists in all things.
The reflected sun is finished with gold leaf.
The bronze stands forward in the box and the vibrant red backing causes a coloured shadow to be reflected.
Mounted in a painted mdf box frame and ready to be wall hung on keyhole fittings in the back of the box.
Alternatively… the box has sufficient depth to ensure stability when freestanding on a tabletop, cill or shelf.
