About this artwork
This black and white work captures the silent force of industrialization, blending lines and forms with an almost hypnotic intensity. I wanted to convey the hazy, methodical energy of a world in motion, where each train car tells a story of waiting and departure. This photograph will energize your space with an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and powerful, sparking reflection on time and travel.
Artwork taken in the Sotteville les Rouen marshalling… yard in Seine-Maritime.
This artwork is mounted on a Nielsen Accent 50cm * 70cm frame + mid-tone mat.
Self-taught photographer, specialized in black and white, who started with a Minolta XG1 film camera in the late 1970s. I mainly like landscapes and street photography, creating unique moods and atmospheres through the play of light and contrast. I seek to convey in my works the emotional side felt when capturing the image.
All my prints were made on a Canon pixma pro 100 printer with guaranteed original inks (Chromalife 100+). I mainly use Canon, Canson or Ilford brand papers. The frames are made with a mat guaranteed solvent-free and pH neutral, the frames are from the Nielsen brand.
The prints are numbered, signed and supplied with a certificate of authenticity
