About this artwork
In this work, I have fused graphite, resin and pigments to capture the essence of change and transformation. I was inspired by nature to create a realistic and thought-provoking piece. This painting is a visual metaphor for life, representing how the structured can fall apart, making way for new forms and opportunities.
One of my objectives regarding the viewer's perception of the work of art is for the mind to stop for long enough and be able to… think about why that space has been created. The work must engage the eye and the mind. The contemplator must remain hooked with the restlessness of a presence, with the restlessness of the "unknown." The viewer has to go from narcissistic consciousness to the sublime unconscious.
The energy of this work will add a dimension of introspection and renewal to any space. A risky piece for an original and brave space.

Pin Vega makes and carves the supports and frames for his own paintings. He also makes his own paints by agglutinating top-quality pigments with water or different types of resins and incorporates mineral elements and scaled figures to oversize his work and make us, the viewers, feel like we are contemplating it like a God contemplating his creation from above.
