About this artwork
“Reflections” (2001) embodies the tension between how we see ourselves and how the world perceives us. Through fragmented geometric forms and bold, contrasting hues, I constructed a visual metaphor for inner vision, where eyes become symbols of awareness and multiplicity. This piece reflects my ongoing dialogue between abstraction and identity, emotion and structure.
I explore the shifting nature of self awareness through the language of abstraction.… This composition’s fragmented planes and overlapping eyes evoke multiple perspectives within a single consciousness. Bold and yet introspective, this work exemplifies my philosophy of art as a path to self discovery and emotional balance.
“Reflections”was born out of my fascination with how perception shapes identity. It’s about seeing and being seen. Is a dialogue between the inner self and the outer gaze.
