About this artwork

This diptych consists of two completely unique and original abstract acrylic paintings on canvas. They are an exercise in fluid painting and are stunning in their surface texture and deep red fluid movement, contrasted by intense electric white. The contrast of vibrant colors makes these pieces intriguing and pop to the viewer's eye and this contrast is even more pronounced in person. There is also subtle surface texture and cracks, or tears that… exist and wrap around the canvas, giving it depth and the appearance of some sort of planetary surface. These are beautiful in their simplicity of color palette and the emergence of forms and work perfectly as a unit.
