About this artwork

This is a completely unique and original abstract oil painting on canvas. This painting incorporates techniques and an aesthetic I have been working to perfect over the years. The colors are vibrant and alive and the texture on the edges is highly tactile and almost edible. This piece is an exercise in simplicity and harmony of color. The colors streak and mix on the canvas and appear to almost be racing past your vision, creating a blur of magnificent… color left behind. Heavy texture exists on the edges of the piece as well as a beautiful and subtle streaks of color that accent and separate the color scheme into different and unique segments. This piece has a calming effect and balance that came out of and reflects true presence. I hope it has the same effect on you. It is truly an original oil painting like no other.
