About this artwork
City in Bloom is a love letter to the colors that cities hide in plain sight — reflections in windows, gold on concrete at sunrise, shadows that move like water. I didn’t paint a real skyline; I painted the feeling of walking through one that’s waking up slowly and beautifully.
The palette here is soft but confident — mauves, aquas, buttercream yellows — all layered with loose reflections to blur the line between structure and soul. I wanted to… create a city that feels like a memory… or a possibility.
