Tide and Ember is an abstract exploration of contrast — warm against cool, energy against stillness, form against flow. The colors came first: those rich burnt oranges and sea-glass teals that immediately reminded me of coastal cliffs at sunset. From there, the forms followed — layered, textured, and in constant motion.
I wanted this piece to feel like a visual rhythm — where organic shapes bump up against soft geometry, and line work hums just… beneath the surface. There’s a tension here, but also a sense of peace. Like waves on fire, or memory softened by time.
This signed, limited-edition piece is printed on archival canvas using UV-cured inks for brilliant color retention and depth. At 16.5 x 11.7 inches, it’s a bold statement for a modern space — and a reminder that opposites can coexist beautifully.
