About this artwork
My canvas is a whirlwind of emotions, where acrylic becomes the voice of the soul. I chose abstraction to express a visceral freedom, a dialogue between bright colors and contrasts that dance together creating a dynamic harmony. This work speaks of uncontainable passions, of life that flows impetuously like flood waters. By bringing it into your home, you will feel the vibrant energy that invigorates the spirit and stimulates the mind.
Roberto Buccilli, an exponent of Abstract Expressionism, manipulates acrylics, stucco, and recycled materials. His preferred technique is the use of palette knives, blending gestural expression with vigorous textures. His works exude the raw sincerity of emotion, capturing the immediacy of his creative sensations. He exhibits regularly in Italy and abroad (all documented) and participates in major national fairs such as Arte Padova, Arte Genova, Pavia Art, and Arte Parma. His work is featured in the Mondadori Modern Art catalog no. 58 and in the De Agostini Modern Art catalog, 2024 edition, presented at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
