The lilies were blooming in the botanical garden in Tübingen. The multiple exposures, and thus the concept, were created on-site, bringing a lot of movement and expression to the image. A wonderful splash of color that does a good job and brightens up the immediate surroundings.
The image is printed on Hahnemühle William Turner handmade paper, mounted on aluminum Dibond, and fitted with a whitewashed spruce frame. It can also be ordered in a different… size and in other materials (e.g., acrylic glass or other high-quality Hahnemühle photo paper with a frame).
Romy Pfeifer, born in 1956 in Bad Säckingen, is a German photographer. After studying economics, she worked for a publishing house specializing in technical journals. Alongside her studies, she honed her photographic skills across a broad range of subjects, particularly portraiture, wildlife, travel, and landscape photography. She later left her professional career to dedicate herself entirely to photography. Her current focus is on experimental and abstract landscape and nature photography. She plays with light, color, and texture, creating photographs of landscapes and nature in which reality merges into abstraction. Her works are exhibited at exhibitions and art fairs both in Italy and abroad, and have received numerous prizes and awards. Romy Pfeifer is represented by the MONAT Gallery in Madrid and contemporary art in Turin.
