About this artwork
The painting “Lento” is inspired by the Waltz in A-flat major, Op. 69 No. 1 by Frederic Chopin.
For me, the piece of music oscillates between farewell and departure, calming the soul. I tried to capture this mood in this painting.
In this work, I used acrylic paints to capture an abstract mood that oscillates between calm and energy. The gentle transitions between warm yellow and pink tones convey the feeling of a peaceful sunset, symbolizing hope… and new beginnings. This painting is intended to create a calming yet invigorating atmosphere in the room, gently enveloping the viewer and inviting reflection.
