About this artwork
In this painting, I melded naiveté with realism and symbolism to explore the intrinsic connections between nature and human endeavors. This artwork invites introspection about dependency and coexistence in our world, enriching any space with its…
deep, thought-provoking aura.

« In the modern world, we have lost the ability to understand the picture and to enjoy contemplation. My creativity helps turn on the imagination and enjoy art. »
Sergey Sergeev is an experienced artist of Russian origin, living and working in France since 2013. Influenced by the masters of the Northern Renaissance, his work is created using a multi-layered technique to create his characteristic dynamic and complex paintings. Sergeev's work also draws on the underlying philosophy of 17th century Taoist painting and the symbolism of runic signs. His artistic oeuvre is characterized by static images that contemplate technology, surveillance, cyborgs and history.
