About this artwork
Un calciatore stilizzato domina il foglio con gesto immediato e irriverente. La figura è essenziale — quasi un ideogramma — costruita con inchiostro nero su una carta straordinaria: prodotta a mano dalla cartiera Velké Losiny in Repubblica Ceca, una delle più antiche manifatture cartarie d'Europa, attiva dal 1591 e candidata UNESCO. La texture irregolare del supporto non è sfondo, è parte dell'opera stessa.
La scritta "FAIR PLAY" campeggia in alto… con grafia grezza e ironica, mentre il tocco di arancione al centro — il cuore, il pallone, l'anima — è l'unico colore di tutta la composizione: una scelta precisa, carica di significato. Un omaggio velato a Francesco Totti, simbolo di fedeltà, talento e fair play in un calcio che li celebra sempre meno.
