About this artwork
I'm a cat lover; in fact, I have two. I pay homage to these felines for all the good things they bring to my life. They represent the idea of freedom and independence. They are energy transmuters, guardians and protectors, and mirrors of your subconscious. They are great balancers of energy from negative to positive. They've occasionally brought me a trophy (hunted locally) as a thank you.

« In each person, I felt a part of me. When I look at the work, I do not see a final result, but the memory of a piece of my experience. »
GURI is an artist based in Spain with a presence in national and international exhibitions, including the United Arab Emirates, the United States and Italy.
His work lies at the intersection of classical sculpture and the energy of contemporary urban art. Through the fusion of oil and spray paint, he constructs a visual language where the classical is deconstructed and the urban becomes poetic.
The figures, symbolic animals, and reinterpreted nature are part of an evolving universe, where a single color predominates, currently focused on the study of pink, acting as an emotional territory.
Her work explores the female figure as an archetypal presence: sensitivity, vulnerability, and contained strength. Through intuitive and gestural painting, she translates inner states into images that oscillate between the intimate and the monumental.
