About this artwork
In this watercolor painting, I wanted to capture the intensity of emotions through vibrant colors and fluid hues. The contrast between sunny yellow and deep blue explores the internal struggle between light and darkness, conveying a vibrant and dynamic energy that will bring warmth and depth to any space. It's an invitation to let yourself be swept away by the emotional flow of life.
Shirin Eghbal, born in Iran and trained in painting at the University of Art in Tehran, continued her artistic career in Italy. "My art is born from an inner need, from a deep need to express what words cannot tell. For me, painting is an act of presence, of truth: a sacred, suspended moment, in which time stops. I work instinctively and immediately. I love to stay on the border between the visible and the invisible, between form and intuition, welcoming the unexpected. I am inspired by oriental painting, especially Japanese: there I found a philosophy of gesture that I feel is deeply mine. Every sign is essential, every empty space has a meaning and speaks. For me, art is an encounter, not only with the material, but also with the observer. Each painting is a threshold, an invitation to feel, to get lost in silence and find yourself in a space of freedom.” www.shirinarte.com
