About this artwork
In this work, I explore the interplay of stillness, movement, and subtle tensions. Bright, almost floating surfaces meet warm, earthy tones, spontaneous lines, and vibrant accents in turquoise, magenta, and black. This creates a pictorial space that remains open yet conveys a clear inner atmosphere.
I wanted to create a composition that appears light and multifaceted without sacrificing depth. The richly textured areas lend the surface body and… presence, while the lighter areas give the work air, stillness, and spaciousness. It is precisely this interplay of texture, color, and free expression that makes the work so vibrant for me.
In my opinion, this picture is very well suited to modern, bright rooms where art doesn't need to be loud to have a powerful effect. It unfolds its impact equally well from close up and from a distance, inviting the viewer to continually discover new details and moods within it.

I am a self-taught painter and work intuitively, freely, and strongly in the moment. Music, movement, and emotional impulses accompany my painting process and flow directly into my visual language. In my work, I am interested in contrasts, layers, rhythmic structures, and the connection between inner experience and organic form. I work primarily with acrylics on canvas. My works move between abstraction and the echo of nature and invite viewers to rediscover their own memories, feelings, and moods within them.
Materials & Technique: Acrylic on canvas, built up in a free, intuitive painting style. The surfaces are created through layering, gestural marks, soft transitions and dense areas of color.
