About this artwork
With this work, I wanted to capture a moment of quiet introspection, using oil to convey the softness of the skin and the soft light that envelops the figure. Every detail is designed to convey delicacy and emotional depth, bringing calm and reflection to the spaces where it will be exhibited. An intimate visual poem that speaks of sensitivity and grace.
Stefano Anselmi primarily uses oil painting, supported by a solid academic background in both art and music, developed at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and in the world of opera. His technique leans toward free abstraction, present in the complexity of the fabric of natural things, eschewing a fixed style to experiment with full expressive freedom, guided by intuition and the fusion of visual and musical perception. His works evoke emotional contrasts such as noise and silence, movement and rejection, immersed in a profound sense of space.
