Hope
Who would ever have thought of living in this way?
I woke up this morning and thought all is so the same
But everything is so different today
Fear wanted to grip me and make me feel insane
Then I made a u-turn in my head
While still lying in bed:
A wave of thankfulness
And nothing less
All my family are still safe
We have our homes and hopes
We have loved ones
We have food and clothes
We have time together although apart.
We have time to think… about our actions:
To Spread love or anger
To be calm or agitated
To support each other in sadness and joy
Time for Reflection of our lives – a luxury in itself.
Dreams still for the future whatever it might be
But best of all we have HOPE.
